Sold to my brother.

I received this laptop as a gift from work, but I have no need for it.

I've had it running on battery for almost 3 hours and it still shows plenty of life.

It is loaded with a fresh install of Windows XP Home, and includes a COA.

The screen is bright, and the only blemish I see is a small pressure mark (really only shows on a black screen). The screen surface itself is very clean.

The hinges are strong, and the palm rest and keyboard look excellent.

Scratches here and there, but nothing major (on the inside).

The lid has a long arcing scratch but it's not deep. It has a University logo on the lid, which appears to be etched.

Does this have the 14.1–inch: XGA LCD panel or the 15.0–inch: SXGA+?

If I weren't stuck with this T30 that I can't seem to sell locally, I would snatch this up in a heartbeat, because it seems like it would have a quicker turn with more profit (locally)...

What's it gonna take for you to buy it, Steve? $200 shipped including that T40 battery?

Yea, they offered me an extra paid day off, a pathetic Visa gift card, or the laptop. Easy choice.

Luckily I had first pick of the 3 laptops that were being given away, so I took them all out and inspected them...the girls that got one just grabbed a bag and walked away. One had loose hinges, dirty ports, screen impressions, etc...I got the best one, minus the scratch on the lid.

I'd keep it if all I had was a T23.
