SOLD: excellent Z61t (Core Duo/1440x900/1GB RAM/60GB HDD)
Up for sale is a Thinkpad Z61t laptop in excellent condition. Cosmetically at least 9.5 out of 10. The keyboard doesn't have any shine. As I briefly reviewed in this post, the Z61t is one of my favorite Thinkpads. At 4.7 lbs (or 4.35 lbs without the optical drive), its weight is intermediate between the T and the X series. Here are the specs:
Product ID: 9443-A41
Processor: 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo (T2400)
Display: 14.1" 1440x900 widescreen (very good condition)
1x1GB DDR2 RAM (with one empty slot for future upgrade)
60GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive with 8MB buffer
CD/DVD-ROM drive
Intel 802.11abg wireless
1Gb Ethernet
three USB2.0 ports
SD card reader
IEEE 1394 FireWire
Modem
Secure chip
battery in very good condition (holds 33.47 Wh, or 89.4% of original capacity)
90W Lenovo AC adapter
Windows XP Pro installed (COA sticker is gone, but this model was licensed to install Windows XP Pro)
Warranty has expired.
I offer several payment options:
1) For U.S. buyers paying with a personal check or money order, it's $510.00 shipped.
2) For U.S. buyers using PayPal, it's $525.54 (regardless of whether you draw funds from a credit card, cash or a bank account).
3) If you pick up locally, it's $490 in cash.
4) If you are outside of the U.S., it is $490 plus actual postage plus PayPal fees.

Z61t's, a ThinkPad best kept secret. All the performance of a T60 (an Intel GPU model, anyway), without the weight or bulk.
Nice offering!

Welcome back PW ... how was your trip?
Just came in to say this: if PW says it is 9.5/10, you won't be able to tell it apart from a new machine used for a few hours.

Very nice...this should not last long. The screen is awsome and the unit is easy to upgrade. Great price!! BTW...it shares a lot of items (batteries, Keyboard, HD, etc.) with the T60/T61 series and would make a good addition.

PianoWizard, is that you on our local Craigslist or an amazing coincidence?

An offtopic question, what is lighter, a Z61t with WXGA+ display versus a standard 4:3 T61
