Full disclosure: I picked up this machine a while ago in a purchase of parts machines. It had the pulsating fan issue which was resolved with the help of this forum. http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=21979. Just noticed the LCD bezel is a little loose-- it not going to fall off by any means. You'd have to pull on it to notice. It feels like one of the plastic tabs doesn't "click" into the frame. Paint slowly peeling of mini-pci cover. Also see pic of LCD.

As for physical condition, this is a well used machine. There are various scuffs and scratches and the LCD is slightly blemished. The battery is a non-oem and has about 30% capacity left. Discharges evenly down to a few percent. I haven't tried running it lower than that. I've used this machine almost daily the last couple months-- up until I traded off the memory and hard drive to a forum member. Keyboard has only a little shine and looks good. Palmrest and plastics around the keyboard are unremarkable and are not cracked.
