Thinkpad T42p. Reasonable price to sell (locally) advice ...

Original description: P M 1.8GHz, 1024MB RAM, 40GB 5400rpm HDD, 14.1 SXGA+(1400x1050) TFT LCD, 128MB Fire GL T2, 16x10x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD(slim), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), 802.11a/b/g Wireless(MPCI), Secure Chip(TCPA), UltraNav, 6 cell battery, WinXP Pro

Included one Thai keyboard actually installed, and another china keyboard.

With Recovery disks.

Any one who would take it. I live in Mexico BTW.

Screen have one buffed area which is shiny when the laptop is off.

Wow, I'm a little shocked that no-one has responded with a price for you yet. I would check Ebay and past marketplace ads and see what comprobable systems sold for. Your biggest issue (course you live somewhat close to the border, so maybe not) is shipping out of Mexico.

Does this have the Intel or problematic video chip set?

All T41s and T42s have the potential for this problem as they all have discrete ATI graphics chipsets (the T40 was pre RoHS and doesn't appear to suffer this problem, at least not as bad as the later models).
