This is an UPGRADED Thinkpad A31 laptop (2652-P34) in great condition and preloaded with lots of software and build-in wireless. READY TO GO!

This unit has a blazing fast 2.4Ghz Intel Pentium 4m processor (cpu upgraded from the original 1.8Ghz).

It has a bright 15" XGA TFT LCD screen which is very clear and has no dead pixels (1024 * 768 resolution).

Originally this unit did not have build-in wireless. I installed the (original IBM) antenna wires and added an Intel 2200BG mini-pci wireless card.

The unique thing about this model laptop is that it has 2(!) 'ultrabay' expansion slots, one on each side.

One bay normally holds the optical drive, the other can be used for a large number of other things: 2nd hard drive, floppy drive, extra battery, ZIP drive, Numeric pad. It is possible to have a total of 3 hard drives in this laptop! (or 2 CD/DVD burners and 1 hard drive).
