X200 -- will not open, when it arrives, will re-ship to you

#2 Post by Perchik » Thu Aug 21, 2008 12:44 pm

When my X200 arrives, I will slap a new label on it and send to you. Will not open the box.

why not just cancel your order or return it unopened to lenovo for full credit?

unless he got it in a raffle/giveaway...
but yeah, i agree, if you *just* bought it, you should be able to return it.

or maybe it's one of those that just... "fell off the truck"...

don't take that the wrong way, i'm just saying it sounds a little iffy.

It's the deal

#6 Post by Perchik » Thu Aug 21, 2008 3:25 pm

I bought it in the morning when Lenovo made the web mistake of putting 128Gig SSD and exchanged it for 64Gig SSD later.

I don't want to return it because I got the SSD drive basically for free.

So I can sell it and make some money :) and get an S10.

As per references, well, not much I can do. When it get it I can send you pics of the box. Or we can set up a "buy now" arrangement on ebay.

because I'm legit, you can try to "confirm" however you see fit, call me, email me, whatever -- I don't have anything to hide. But I won't post personal info online, obviously.

With references we don't mean your personal details, but info about feedback on eBay, HeatWare and the like would help.

I doubt if he even wants to do that. The most he can get back from Lenovo is $1200 + tax because he basically gets the free SSD from the "happy accident" on Lenovo's behalf.

True that. If you go to ebay, you'll see a lot of people like him, selling X200's with SSD's hoping for a profit.

OK guys/gals...enough thread crapping. Let the OP sell the X200 as he/she sees fit. No need to speculate...

The question is NOT what the OP paid for it, but rather, what it is worth to you....
