FS: X41 Tablet - $400 shipped

#1 Post by kaotic504 » Sat Aug 23, 2008 7:45 am

Hello guys,

I'm selling another laptop. I'm trying to get cash for a MacBook. Here are the specs of the X41 Tablet that i'm selling.

1.5ghz Centrino
Intel Wireless A/B/G
Bluetooth
8gb Compact Flash Hard Drive (Check the Compact Flash/SSD post in the X41 forum)
1.5gb ram (factory 512mb, additional Corsair 1gb)
Extended Cell battery
ac adapter
Fingerprint reader (i think they all had this though)

Pictures will be up if interested. if you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM or email kaotic504 at gmail dot com

oh, due to this being an X41T and not an X40, i do get the bios message stating that this is not an IBM drive, and i have to click ESC to move on. but that happens with all the X41 upgrades to CF/SSD. IMO still better than the 1.8" 4200rpm click drive.

Maybe willing to trade, plus cash for a Macbook, but i'm looking to buy my own within the next month so i can that free Ipod Touch.

Thanks!

You wouldn't happen to have the original HDD as well, would you?

Just to make one thing perfectly clear: I read and understood the specs of the machine as it is being offered and wasn't implying that you should include the original drive for free, just wondering whether you were in possession of it.

Best of luck with the sale.

there have been a number of x40/1's up here in just the past couple weeks... a lot of people are upgrading to x60/1's or else people are selling their laptops to buy books for school? or maybe the flow of x40/1's has always been like this and i'm only just now noticing?

anyway, good luck with the sale.

This is anyway a great machine, altough I could repair my X60 for a lower price than this machine, I still hope I'll have similar one one day, as it would make a great member of my fellow thinkpads :)

Hi, I am interested.
Do you have pictures, and can you comment on condition, screen, overlay?
