LF: XD card, 512MB or less

#1 Post by joester » Sat Aug 23, 2008 5:44 pm

Just picked up a FujiFilm S5000 (price was right...I hope) and was alarmed to learn that XD cards are only available in 1GB or higher. The camera does not support cards over 512MB. Fujifilm doesn't appear to have a firmware upgrade, so I guess I need to find 512MB or less card(s).
Anyone got one they might part with?

TIA.

Joe

john518,

Saw several XD cards online, but figured I would give one of the shutterbugs on the forum a chance to offload an older card for a few buck$.

Thanks though!

Wish I'd seen this earlier - I threw out a 512mb one (inside a broken Olympus camera) about a month ago. Sorry :( I would have given it to you.

The link below says otherwise. In fact, I just bought a 1GB Type H card and it's recognized by my S5000.

Nice hit QLi!

I was going by the documentation with the camera.

I'll be getting one of those H cards soon!
