WTB (maybe): low spec T60,X60 or R60

If every thing goes right with the sale of the T41 i have, i'll be looking to buy a newer system.
Like it to have Intel Core duo or C2D,sata hard drive,ddr2 ram.
But not deal breaker.
I'm thinking of the T60 or X60 with low ram and small hard drive.
There was a few cheap R6xt systems here not long ago.
Even thinking of X41.
Well my serch is on for a system.Say 500.00 shipped to canada is tops.
Even look at non-thinkpad systems, depending on what it is.

You may also want to consider a Z series machine, if you don't mind widescreen, it's the most bang for the buck you're likely to get...

Best of luck with your noble quest.

I recently picked up a low spec. R60e off Ebay for 225.00 shipped. They are out there, it took me about 2 months of watching and bidding.

Thanks
Ya the "Z" would be OK too.
I have two i have to check into.A T60 and X60 listed where i live for under 500.00.

If i dont find something soon theres a very nice X41 here for sale.If it's still around by then.

Just make sure you get the CoreDuo/Core2Duo Z61 series, the earlier Pentium-M-based Z60 series were known to have some issues here and there and won't be much of an upgrade anyway.

Not realy a bumb but i just want to say i'll take a system that is bare bones. No ram,dvd or hard drive.
Would love to get a bare bones T60 with ATI video and high rez lcd.
Even an X60 without ram or hard drive or base.
