Hey All,

Im looking for two things for a family member.

The first is Windows Vista x64 Ultimate on DVD with serial. This can be OEM or boxed, whichever you have to offer. Of course, I will go with the cheapest one that's emailed to me.

The second item is a 5.25" floppy drive. Don't ask me WHY this person needs this but they do. It has to preferrably be one of those internal drives that fit into a 5.25" bay into a tower system. No cabling is needed.

Please email all offers for sale over to DWTRASH (at) GMAIL.COM as I will not be checking PMs on here. Thanks! Please send pricing with shipping included to 60068. If you have both items available, please just email one big total for everything shipped, insured. USPS is fine for shipping.

The internal 5.25 inch floppy drive I had would not work in any machine I had later than 1998. You will probably have to determine what drives will work in the machine you have in order to be able to purchase one. I no longer have said drive. ... JDH

I have a few 5.25 drives. Would you want a HD 1.2 meg or a DD 360K? Black face or white face plate. I also have sealed boxes of floppy disks in either size.

Just so you know, there have been some 3.5"/5.25" combo drives that only take one 5.25" drive bay. I have one from Epson, but I'm too attached to part with it. It's a nice space saver if you can find one, though.

The combo drives were quite common at one time, but I haven't a clue where you might find one at this point... I have a friend who saves EVERYTHING; maybe he has one lying around. PM me (so I know how to reach you) and I'll ask him.

That's a little older looking than the one I have, but essentially the same. I don't have it installed right now, but I'd love to know if it supports 2.88MB disks if anyone knows. It would just be the uber-floppy drive then. :D

I don't remember the combos ever supporting the 2.88 format, so I suspect the answer to that one is no. Just the 1.2 and 1.44 formats
