My wife's T42 (2379-DXU) just hit the "Fan Error" and does not feel like booting. I've read through the various threads on this topic and found that I need the following:

13R2657

If anyone has one for a decent price, then please PM me.

Hopefully you'll find a 13R2657. I've installed this fan in both my T42's and they run extremely quiet.

I understand the newer 41W5204 is also very quiet, in the event you can't find the 13R2657.
