***SOLD*** X40 2371-8VU

I acquired an excellent X40 in a trade with George but have found what may be a more suitable machine for my requirements (that being the nc2400 that pianowizard has for sale, or if it is sold elsewhere, one that I can locate somewhere else). The X40 is almost exactly as described in the following thread:

The sole difference is that the wireless card originally in the machine was kept by George and I installed an Intel 2100B mini PCI card that I had spare. Otherwise the condition and other specs are exactly as he put them in that thread (the laptop has only been on battery power for less than half an hour since I took posession of it last week). A genuine IBM 72W AC adapter will be included, but you will need your own power cord since the one I have is a 3 pronged Australian wall input. The hard drive has a recovery partition intact, and I have successfully restored to factory settings from it. There is no remaining warranty.
I have also taken several photos of the machine, which are shown as Imageshack thumbnails below. Click on the thumbnail for the full resolution pic.

Price is $320 shipped, and can be paid for via Paypal (non-CC very much preferable). I ship via Australia Post's Express Post International system, which provides a tracking number and basic tracking details to ensure peace of mind, plus insurance for a small additional fee. Delivery of the T42 that George is selling took around 4 business days from here in Sydney to his address in PA, which I'm sure you'll agree is very fast indeed.
If any Australian buyers are interested, please note that the price I have quoted is in US dollars. However my price is negotiable because shipping within Australia will be less expensive than to the US or other parts of the world - you're probably looking at around $360 shipped. PM me and we can talk turkey.
Please PM me with any questions or enquiries that you may have.
EDIT: I have just listed the machine on eBay, but my priority is still to sell here.
