FS: misc. parts for free?

Am I naive or am I dumb?

Here’s the deal. I have a bunch of stuff left over from when my hobby was resurrecting IBM laptops from non-working to a working condition by taking parts from several to get one good one. Mostly they were the 600 series. Those days have ended and I’m left with various small pieces, too numerous to inventory or bother to offer for sale. I know there’s a new, never used bottom case (660/E???), and a DVD drive of unknown condition with A, T, rails but straight front. There are some 600 screen bezels, daughter cards, speakers, modems, hinges, non-working keyboards, etc.

So – here’s my proposal:

I’ll put whatever stuff that’ll fit in a USPS Flat Rate box and pay to mail it to someone. Whoever gets the box evaluates the contents and does one of the following:
1 - Sends me the cost of the Flat Rate box ($10.00)
2 - Sends me whatever that person determines the value to be from $10.00 to ????
3 – Laughs at dumb me for paying to mail this stuff, does nothing and keeps the contents.

I’m gambling that folks on this list will opt for either 1 or 2 and not 3.

I don’t want to throw this stuff away if someone can make good use of it.

Please contact me off list if you’re interested.

Is any of it compatible with 760 series models?

That is surprisingly interesting... I could use the parts. However, I wouldn't be able to pay you. I don't use paypal willy nilly. >_>
