SOLD: T42p parts (14" SXGA+ LCD panel + 2GHz CPU

#1 Post by mgire » Tue Jun 23, 2009 4:11 am

Sold to a forum member. Thanks.

Bump this old ad :)

From my T42p 2373-KTH :

- 14" SXGA+ LCD panel : Used 11 months only, perfect condition, no scratch, no dead pixel.
- CPU : 2.00GHz M755 (SL7EM)

LCD + CPU : US$170 shipped (EMS)

I can send the whole laptop lid instead of just the LCD panel.

I just lost my lcd due to a burn out blacklight and would be interest in 14" SXGA+ LCD panel. Would you know it it would work with my t42? Look forward from hearing back from you. In mean time I will post a question about the SXGA working with my t42.

It seems to be possible. Have a look at this discussion (scroll down to the 3rd message):

It appears that it will work. I notice that you are in Thailand. Was the t42p purchased there? Do you foresee any compatibility issues?

I purchased it in Hong Kong as I work there, there are more choices, prices are cheaper because there is no tax and you can type with a decent qwerty keyboard, not a Thai one  .
According to what I read (I'm not an expert though) it seems much better if you get the whole laptop lid instead of just the LCD panel.
