I forgot to mention, battery is in good condition, holds charge about 2:30 to 3:30 hours (regular 4 cell I think not the one that sticks out).

1953-D9U according to ID
Out of warranty (since last year)
Screen Resolution is 1024x768 (standard)
It has also the XP COA sticker (if that helps)

Uses the Intel Video card, I am not sure what kind.

Updated, installed a full version of office 2003 and acrobat reader since the previous versions were trial, and yes the laptop does come with the T60 restore CDS.

what is the model of this machine?

Admin note: See above: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... 675#456675
T30 2366-61U dead mobo
T30 2366-81U still works but not being currently used. I think I'll rectify that situation.
T40 2373-19U dead
(2) T42 2373-JXU with Flexview LCDs. One with either GPU or southbridge issue.
T43 2687-D4U with possible software problem. Awaiting R&Rs.
