I was cleaning up my workshop and came across this little guy.
Model/type 2605-DFK
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... ry=2605DFK
Original description: Am5x86 133MHz 20MB RAM 720MB 8.4 VGA DSTN 28.8K Win95
The battery is dead but I have an IBM external FDD and an external IBM 8x PCMCIA CD for it.
In case you're wondering what the heck a Thinkpad 530cs is it sorta was a baby 755cs for the Asian market.
Here is a picture of it next to one of my x32's
http://krif.com/530cs

since I have to list a price lets start at $75.00OBO since it will take a good hour or so to reload Win95 on this guy.
It's a neat conversation piece if nothing else.

Hmmm, this would be a very interesting add to my collection, but I am in nowhere near the position to be able to put out this kind of money...at this time anyway...

Good luck!

same for me..
it would be a nice addition and would go next to the two S30's..
but i often ask myself whether it is better to have every thinkpad ever made (including that white thinkpad i was offered in exchange for the camera from my powerPC 860) or to just keep a few significant models..

it sure is interesting..

would you want to swap for a 701..? :)

Hi Bill
I'm good on the 701 (I have about a dozen in storage) 8)
This was acually part of my unofficial quest to own every thinkpad made (just not all at once)
I'm on the lookout for a s30 or s31 if you want to part with one let me know :)
Thanks
Jim
