I currently have a T43p system that I am thinking of selling and wanted to gauge possible interest in from any forum members. The current specs are in my signature. In addition to those, the following extras would be coming with the system, since I would like to sell as a package:

- Advanced Dock - This is the big one and not the smaller port replicator. I have not used this at all and it's still in the box.

- Extra palmrest without the fingerprint reader: For whatever reason, the system did not come with the correct palm rest. I purchased one off of ebay and installed in the system, so this is extra. If you don't want a fingerprint reader, then this can be put back on.

- Extra power supply - an extra brick that I have that I will no longer need.

- Recovery Discs for the system (XP Pro)

- Warranty coverage for another 1.5 years from Lenovo (good until 3/16/2010)

So, the system would come with the listed specs in my signature, and the above items.

I still have the original 80GB 7200RPM drive that came in the system and will reinstall that and install a fresh preload from the recovery set for the sale.

I am currently running a Fujitsu 120GB 5400RPM HDD that I purchased and installed. It does not have the 2010 error like a lot of the other aftermarket drives you can get. If you would like this drive, in addition, I would ask for an extra $50 on top of the cost of the system.

The LCD is in excellent condition, with no dead pixels. I don't run it on full brightness very much at all (usually on the middle setting or one above it, 4 or 5 out of the 7 levels), so it is still very bright at the highest setting.

I looked around on Ebay and found my exact model for sale for $950.

The system is in excellent condition and I have taken extremely good care of it since I bought it last year (my wife would say that I've babied it, because even she doesn't get to touch it!). I would like to try and get $600, with all of the accessories (except for the 120GB HDD). This is negotiable, so make me a reasonable offer!

Not really interested in the whole package but is this really the Advanced Dock? As far as I know, it does not work with the T43p but only with the T60 and newer.

This is still for sale. Surprised I haven't had more hits on this, considering all of the extras with it.

Tough economic times maybe = not a good time to sell ....

You might have better luck parting it out. Just a thought since I am looking for parts i.e motherboard maybe optical drive and possibly a screen

Bump. This is still for sale. I've had one bite on it this week, but I have yet to hear back from that person.
