SOLD: 14" T42 XGA, 1.7GHz, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB HD

I have a nice T42 (not sure exact model number, its at my other office) with a 1.7 GHz Dothan Processor, 1GB RAM (2 X 512 MB), a 40 GB hard drive, TWO port replicators with power supplies.

This is a low-range model with 32MB ATI 7500 graphics, no GPU issues. The screen is bright and sharp, though the machine is right and clean and the keyboard is in excellent shape with only a little bit of shine.

This is a basic, reliable and somewhat boring ThinkPad that is well suited for business use. This has been my paralegal's machine for the last three years, always used in a port replicator alternating between our two offices (hence the two port replicators). I have had no problems whatsoever with this machine, and neither should you.

Comes with Windows XP Professional COA, but no recovery partition. I will delete our user accounts and send with the software as-is.

Currently configured with XP Pro and Office 2003 Pro, for which I can provide one of my two license codes as I no longer use the software. You can reinstall the software with a copy of the CD which I will provide (I am keeping the original as I still use my other license).

Sorry, no PICS as I do not own a digital camera. The computer is in excellent used condition, perhaps a 9/10, with no cracks whatsoever and no dead or stuck pixels that I can detect.

This machine was about a year old when I bought it and still under warranty at that time, though it never needed it. Since I bought it, it has never been used as an actual laptop, but rather as a transportable desktop. That means that the screen and keyboard have not been touched in three years as my paralegal has never even turned it on undocked, and in docked use it was always with an external LCD, keyboard and mouse, with the lid closed.

Selling because I've moved my entire office to Mac OS X and replaced this with a MacBook. This is my last ThinkPad as my personal R60 was sold a few weeks ago. Wow, first time in over a decade that I will not own a single Windows PC.

Looking for $240 shipped in CONUS for the T42, two port replicators and fully licensed XP Pro and Office 2K3 Pro.

SOLD.

For the first time in many years I am ThinkPad-less. Perhaps an older X series as a plaything when not using my MacBook Pro.

Anyone want to trade a nice X31 or X40 for an old 12" PowerBook and try the Mac side?
