Hey everyone,
After graduating college, I've come to realize that my need for a laptop has diminished, and that I hardly use it. I've been using this computer as an OSX86 test machine-- and it has worked flawlessly. Sleep works, sound works, graphics acceleration works, it's excellent.
But I'm not going to get into that-- if you have any questions about it, I will answer it.
The laptop is in absolutely perfect condition. I bought it in June, and used it around school for about a month (always in a case, and a laptop backpack). Since then, it has sat on my desk.
Here are the complete specs:
- Intel Core 2 Duo running @ 2.0ghz
- 14.1" 1440 x 900 LCD (this was an upgrade)
- 2.5gb RAM
- 80GB HDD
- DVD/CDRW Drive
- Intel Integrated x3100 Graphics
- still 8 months left on original warranty, with option to upgrade still present.
- The best keyboard on any laptop out there (I prefer it to MacBook Pros)
- All the manuals, and UltraNav tips that came with it (I think there are 3 total)
As I said, the computer is flawless, and has been running perfect since I got it. It comes with a Vista Home Basic license on the bottom, and I can set up a single/dual/triple boot system if you prefer.
The 14.1" R61 is essentially the same computer as the T61. When they were upgraded last, the 14.1" models were given the same magnesium (or titanium) rollcage the T61s include-- and all of the components are essentially the same. One of the only differences between this model and the T61, is the thickness (it's .1" thicker), and slight cosmetic differences. I have been very pleased with this computer, and bought it mainly due to it's thinness, portability and excellent build quality.
I'm currently asking $525 shipped, but shoot me an offer! If you have any questions let me know!
I have feedback on ebay, head-fi.org, and macrumors.com as well.
Thanks!
