Hi friends,

I recently acquired an A31 off eBay, added some bits to it and tried it out as a desktop replacement for my wife. She chose to stay with her R51, so I have this for sale. It does have the advantages of dual bays and is really fairly quick. But if we're going to have a "spare" TP, I'd rather have a T4x series machine

A 31 2653 CU3
1.9 P4M
1 Gig Ram (2x512)
40 Gig HD (new)
15" LCD (really beautiful, but one bright pixel the size of a pencil dot)
ATI Raytheon 7500

DVD CD/RW FRU P/N 08K9820 combo drive
Floppy Drive
XP Pro COA
Battery new a month ago, has run 1.5 hours but no guarantees.

Port Replicator comes with it, but no AC adapter. Cosmetically in pretty good shape. Only notable exceptions are the pixel a magik marker number on the bottom, and a few scratches here and there.

Price: $120 shipped within the USA and I will take Pay Pal. I'm open to trades as well.

Pictures upon request.

Got a T41 from Dave a few months back and it was an awesome machine. I'm sure this will be just as nice for whomever chooses to pick it up.

My sister has almost the exact same model, and they are looking for another one, so that she and her husband can be online at the same time...let me see if she is interested...

EDIT: Well, I guess like everyone else, she doesn't have the spare money, or else she'd pick this up in a heartbeat. Excellent price!

Yesh, I'm trying to get some to put toward another forum member's offering. :)

Here's a link to pictures.

Update - I've tested all the hardware, and dvd cd/rw works well.

I hadn't used that before.

The HD is set up for an IBM install, but I didn't have the restore disks and had to use a Dell XP disk so if you buy it, I'll wipe it and you can restore to conventional IBM state.

I can add a power supply for an additional $20 total.

Price shipped then would be $145 with power supply.

Reduced price, added wireless card

Tough times for A31s I guess. :)

$140 shipped with AC adapter and Cisco Aironet 350 wireless card

$120 shipped for laptop alone

Looking for a netbook or netbook-ish replacement for this so if you have one sitting on a shelf you'd enter a trade for, I'm game

Dang, I have family on the other side of Pensacola from you but I just made a purchase for them from someone else on the forum.

I may be able to find a buyer for you in P-cola if you still have this piece and would be interested in avoiding shipping.

PM me if interested and we'll start some dialog.
