I have no interest one way or the other.

If you don't like the price, offer less or don't buy.

But do it in a PM or e-mail, not here.

Just my thought

No crapping intended -- apologies for any offense that my comment my have caused. It's not uncommon for forum members to discuss pricing and give counsel when it may be helpful. Pricing used computer equipment is always difficult. My suggestion of checking outlet prices was only intended to give a contrasting set of data points to the seller's new pricing, and one that might be considered more accurate by many prospective buyers.

gentlemen..

may i please add a thought here..

pricing of used computer equipment (in fact ANY pricing for most anything) is not an easy task..

especially in these times of everyone holding their bets until they see the cards that are delt..

we think it inappropriate to discuss the price for anything offered in the marketplace in the open..
it is the business of the seller and any prospective buyer and should be done in private via emails or PM's..

offers should always be made in private UNLESS the seller specifically asks for offers to be made in the open..
(this might go against the rules, but i think its a fair thing)

discussions of the various strengths and weakness's of various thinkpad models IS fair game i think as long as it is not related to any item for sale or done to negotiate price..

remember, please, keep such thoughts to yourself or in private messages..

if any think the rules are not clear, please feel free to offer a modification so as to clarify..

also, if any think these rules are unfair, please feel free to make that comment to any mod or admin..

we want this place to be friendly to all members..
