Editing my post for clarity and simplicity.

I am now looking primarily for a 4 cell battery for my Z61T. I prefer a new or near new battery at any price decently less than common on online retailers.

I am also looking for a ultrabay slim battery. I have a 7 cell battery, but its bulk is somewhat awkward..

I recently found a travel bezel (victory).

The last item I am looking for is an 8x super multi-burner for the z61t. A flat bezel ultrabay slim.

Also - I have not yet pulled the trigger on an ebay LCD and am looking for one at around 95 or 100 dollars. Standard WXGA no need for the plus.

Thanks a ton!

You can probably get the older 2x Burner, part number 73P3342, in the $50-60 range here or on eBay.

If you don't mind the extra weight, the seven cell might be a good option. The modular battery always discharges first so it wears out quickly.

Interesting note regarding the modular battery. So much for "power manager" should be something that could be managed, such as using 10 percent of each and alternating or something like that.

I have a 7 cell. Looking for the 4 cell and travel bezel to strip some weight for those plug in carry around days at school and such.

I guess I need to specify and say I need an 8x or whatever was current with this generation of laptops. I dont know if they ever had 4x dvd burners, but id much rather get an 8x. Thanks a ton.

- now that I think about it. I would very much like to find a display here. I am very afraid of buying an ebay LCD and finding a couple of dead and stuck pixels which they would probably refuse to exchange for me. Looking for a good screen here..

I am not sure if the WXGA+ screens can just be plug and play into these WXGA laptops, but if so, i would very much consider a + now.

You are not going to do much better than those $95 EBay LCD's. Believe me, I just went through this exercise.
