FS: Near mint babied T43 1.86GHz SXGA+ Warranty
Posted: Sun Dec 07, 2008 7:48 pm
I am selling my babied Thinkpad T43. The only thing keeping it from being MINT condition is the slight shine on the keyboard and one sticker is now just a blank chrome rectangle (I forget what was on that sticker before).

ISSUES:
It has an OLD BATTERY that dates back to 2004 and gets a POOR rating by the power center. It only lasts about 30-40 minutes.
Seagate 80GB drive is NOT IBM approved. It works perfectly and benchmarks much faster than the original, but there is a nag screen and beep during the boot process that adds 2-3 seconds to the boot time. You do not have to interact with the nag screen as it will continue on its own, although if you press ESC during the nag screen you can cut out that 2-3 second delay.
Comes with the charger.
Price $425+shipping (plus 3% PayPal fees for credit/debit cards). I ship worldwide.
DEDUCT $15 if you prefer the original IBM/Hitachi 40GB drive that does NOT have a nag screen on booting.
