I am looking for a tablet. My Motion M1400 died and the TC1100 I picked up in the interim has many issues, runs Vista like a dog (going to try v-lite since removing items post install doesn't seem to be working), and runs XP even worse. Rather than invest the time and money in fixing it (needs a better hard drive and another gig of ram) I figured I might as well put it towards a Thinkpad tablet. Would match my T60 at the least
I am thinking a x60t or x61t. Sans ram and hard drive to keep the cost down (I have a spare 2gig stick of 667 and I will probably just transfer the 100gb from my T60 after upgrading it to a new, larger 7200rpm).
I wouldn't be opposed to a x41t either but finding those 1.8" hard drives is a pain and the compact flash hack offers subpar performance (though I do have a 16gb and 4gb compact flash not being used at the moment...).
Thoughts and prices wanted. Primary use is watching Hulu/ You Tube videos and the occasional DVD .iso, web browsing, notes for school and work and sudoku.
