LF: Inverter for 600E

#1 Post by bosco » Sun Dec 21, 2008 9:36 am

Does anyone know of a good reputable place to get an inverter for a 600E? There's a bunch of listings on Ebay for inverters under $15. Has anyone had any experience with any of these sellers or know of any other sellers not on Ebay with a good price for inverters (<$15)? Would actually like to spend less than $15, if possible.

Well I have an extra inverter but I'm actually counting on the one I'm using to die (red tint) so I can't send it to you. :( A lot of people here own or have owned 600's, and I'm sure they'd be willing to sell you an inverter or even an entire parts unit at a reasonable price. I got what I needed for the price of shipping. :D

'OldManClayton:
the red tint of the LCD is a sign of a dying CCFL (backlight tube), not of a dying inverter.

I'm aware of that, thanks. I'm just going to replace the entire assembly when it finally fails. :) I want to have as many spare parts nearby as I can in case something goes wrong.
