I'd guess anywhere from $500 to $700.

What did you pay?

The Z61t has a lot of nice features and is solidly built. My guess is it should sell close to the value and condition of a similar T60/T61. The only weakness is the screen and video speed. The T60p can run circles aound the Z61t but does not offer an SD reader and Firewire port. Since yours does not include the webcam...it is almost a wash.

Does that make sense? I paid new $1250 for my Z61t and added 4 gb memory, a DVD burner, and two extra years of warranty. It is in mint condition and is a keeper for home use. I travel with my X300 and use my X60s for motorcycle travel.

My guess would be from $250 to 300, since you've worded it the way you have...maybe even less... :D

The market value of the given machine, in my not so modest opinion, is about $500, give or take a few bucks.

Very sweet units...and this is coming from someone who can't tolerate widescreens.

I've never had the opportunity to see one in person, but from photos I've seen they don't look too bad. And I too am not a fan of widescreens.

Well, they are thinkpads, after all.

I have seen them as low as $240.00
And that was a 9 out 10. But no warranty.
But on the average the ones on ePay are selling for around $400.00

I would like to have a Z61p. But I have two things holding me back.
Price and I already have to many TP's. Someday maybe.

The Z6x series had some very low cost configurations...ie Celerons, black plastic housing, lower resolution, no webcam, low memory, XP Home, etc, etc.

I would suspect the fully loaded Z61t with the Titanium cover, webcam, 3 yr warranty...could sell for as high as $800 in mint condition.

Extremely unlikely in the times when that type of money buys a new T400...let alone a used T61p or Z61p...

Lenovo has managed to slash down the prices to a pretty ridiculous level, and the only machines that are somewhat immune are FlexView-equipped units, although they have taken a hit as well...not as big as the others though...

As much as I personally prefer the looks of Z series to widescreen T series, the following has never been that strong, and these machines were always extremely difficult to sell. I have sworn on ten stacks of Bibles never to buy one for re-selling purposes ever again...and there are not too many ThinkPads that would fall into that category...

I paid $500 for the Z61t in my signature a few months ago. With about 2 years left on the warranty.
