SOLD: 14.1" XGA LCD Complete Assembly from T41. This includes the entire lid with LCD, inverter, Thinklight, LCD cable, wireless antennas, hinges, T41 clear plates, etc.

The LCD acheives good/normal brightness within a few seconds of being turned on (there are no pink or off color hues at all). It has two small imperfections. 1) At the top middle, there seems to be a tiny dot of damage in the suface of the LCD (see first picture, just below the ThinkLight), like someone jabbed it with a pencil tip (maybe someone did?), and 2) on the right side, there is a 1/2" bright spot (see the second picture near the cursor). Either issue is hard to notice while using the LCD. The cover and bezel cosmetics are very good - see pictures!

This is a simple LCD swap procedure for any 14.1" T4x machine. (What I mean is that if you have any T40/T41/T42/T43 with a bad XGA display, you can easily install this one, after purchasing it. Note, if you have Bluetooth, you'll have to move your BT antenna to this assembly, that takes some time.)

This is a decent display and great for a machine in need, but it's not perfect or new, it is priced accordingly.

If I could just get this GPU reflowing technique down, i would pic this up in a heartbeat. I have a few bases that I messed up, and two more than I plan on testing, and if I could just get ONE working right.....grrrr
