I was thinking of possibly acquiring a 15" R60 with an eye to upgrading with an IPS screen. I've been looking on eBay and here, but the 15" models were not as popular 14" variants and there hasn't been much available here of late. A couple of the sellers on eBay haven't even written back.

I'd prefer something in good cosmetic condition as I consider mine to be so. It has a few light marks on the lid and a bit of shine on the keyboard, but otherwise looks pretty new. I've got the Boe-Hydis SXGA+ screen, no marks or scratches, and NMB keyboard. All in all it's a pretty nice machine. So if anyone has an extra 15" R60 they might be willing to part with or knows where to get one, let me know. Also I'd prefer not to get an R60e. I know it makes me a bit of an oddball around here, but I don't do the pointstick. Thanks for any help.

I might be willing to consider a R60e if the right machine came along. I don't care if it has an OS. I got plenty of those. The specs aren't a big deal either because I can just swap whatever parts I want from my current machine.

Just lost out on another auction of eBay for a R60. I suppose I'll have to keep looking. I'll bump this in the meantime, just in case someone has something. Thanks for looking.

Wait, hold on.. What are you trading? Are you wanting to trade your R60 for a better R60?

Pardon me if there was any confusion. What I want is to either buy a 15" R60 or trade my current 14" R60 for a 15" R60. I want to do this because I'd like to swap the LCD in the R60 I buy for an IPS LCD. I don't mind buying it. I can always sell my R60 here or elsewhere. It was really too bad I missed out on the auction eBay. It looked like a hardly used R60. For some reason the my bid never registered, which was significantly more than it went for, and I didn't have enough time to re-do it.

What I'd really like is to buy 14 SXGA+ IPS screen, but as far as I know those were never made. That would be the perfect notebook.
