I'd be interested in participating in a group buy, I'd like to hear what some of the other users think about it.

Are they original or just OEM ? The IBM logo is all in white. I think the characters should have three colors.

All pictures of this keyboard I can find show a white IBM logo. Have you actually seen this keyboard with a three-colored IBM logo?

I think 23$ a keyboard should cover it.

then the cost to ship it to each person, that would probably be anywhere from 5-10$ Each. I would look at roughly 30$ per keyboard you get

so 30$ ea

Shipping might be a bit more complicated and expensive. Participants in this thread hail from three continents and at least a half-dozen countries. It might make sense to have two groups and buy both remaining lots, one in North America and one in Europe?

Given the amount of people now in queue, could make sense taking both lots :P:P

(ps, maybe was not obvious, but I'm interested too in one - shipped to italy - )

If the seller accepted an offer of $200 inclusive of shipping (make offer is an available option) then the cost per unit would be $20. Priority Mail in the US would be from $8 to $11, depending on distance for up to 3 lbs. So $30 should cover it (and the forum member that buys the lot and coordinates shipping would get his/hers for $20.) Obviously, international shipping would be higher.

If the seller doesn't accept that price, the keyboards may have to go for $33 to $35.

Currently there seems to be one offer pending, so you may need to hurry.
If it were me, I would offer $175.- shipped each for the 2 lots that are left.

He also sells them individually for $50 + shipping: http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-US-English-PS-2 ... 0140880288

Well I just bought one lot for 175 plus 37 dollars shipping for a total of 212 dollars. That equals 21.20 a piece, plus shipping. Going to say 31 dollars shipped to USA (AK and HI included). I picked them up because I didn't want the opportunity to go away.

I have no problems shipping them internationally but the cost will obviously be higher and perhaps will outweight the discount recieved in buying the lot. If there was a source in europe for 50 USD or so it may be cheaper than what it would cost from me. Regardless, the price would be my cost + actual shipping charges (edit) (and 1 to 2 dollars for my packaging tape & time)

If the O.P. here or someone else already purchased a lot of these keyboards, than no worries, I will do something else with these. I will not step on any toes, especially since I wouldn't have seen the keyboards except because of this thread.

If I am the only one to have bought one of these lots, than I will make a thread for the KBs but will sell them with priority to the people that posted in this thread earliest.

My Ebay ID is roadsterswap. If you notice I have one negative feedback recently from a 0 feedback buyer, with a user name of dhwithears and an email address of dickheadwithears@emailservicehere.com who is claiming he sent a payment but never received the item. If you will let that one go I think you will find me to be reputable as far as ebay is concerned.

I can only speak for myself. Personally I've not bought the other lot (being not in the US would have not been tactical).
I suppose now the question is the shipping costs (internationally speaking)... I suppose there would be different options and maybe the total price would be less than 50usd with low priority (slower)

When I get them in hand with the packaging they are in (which looks adequate) I can get an actual weight and dimensions and can calculate postage to any specific location no problem.

I think they should end up under 50 dollars total to most locations, cheaper for two. Do you guys mind tape all over the OEM boxes? :P It will be my actual cost + actual shipping + 1 dollar or maybe 2 dollars just to pay for the cost of my tape and time.

Everyone from this thread will have priority based on who posted first. So not much to worry about.
