I have a very very very nice ThinkPad T23 for sale. It looks like it has never been used. Perfect chassis, perfect palmrest, perfect keyboard, flawless screen, and excellent lid (the front corners have scuffs but the rest is flawless). To my knowledge it has never been opened up. To get a sense of how little use this thing has had, the original battery (which comes with it) has only 18 cycles and holds 36.5/43Wh. Here are the specs:

Type 2647-6U8
PIII-M 1.20GHz (512KB)
1x512MB PC133 RAM
Toshiba 40GB 5400rpm hard drive
14.1 XGA (1024x768) TFT LCD
CD-RW/DVD combo drive
Modem(MPCI)
Ethernet(CDC)
36.5/43Wh (original) Li-Ion battery

It will also come with an AC adapter. I can throw in a ThinkPad Port Replicator for an additional $10.

Edit: The machine does not have the hard drive locking screw, and no other models I own have one I can swap out.

You pretty much never see a T23 on this shape. It might not have wireless or the SXGA+ screen, but it's flawless and has the fastest available CPU.

I'm asking $250 for the machine, with the above listed specs. You'll have an extra RAM slot right away so you can set it up as 2x512MB without a hassle.

have you Deep cycled the battery to make sure it hasent deteriorated and the meter hasnt updated?

The battery, after charging to 100% and running into the ground with CPUburn, reports 36.5Wh full charge capacity.

Good thing I didn't sell this without refreshing it!

I purchased a "lot" of ThinkPads from a repair shop. A lot were nasty but they must have overlooked this gem.
