FS/FT: Brand new X30/X31 palmrests, bottom casings, LCD lids

#1 Post by jamiphar » Tue Jan 13, 2009 3:06 pm

I have some brands new X3x plastics for sale, all are completely spotless.

I've listed them on eBay at the moment, the auctions can be found here:

X30 Palmrests - $25 shipped each - 12 left.
X31 Palmrests - $25 shipped each - All sold!
X31 Bottom Casing - $25 shipped each - All sold!
X30/X31 LCD Lid - $25 shipped each - 2 left.

I'd be interested in trading for X4x parts, 2.5" PATA HDDs, or 1GB sticks of PC2700 RAM. Let me know if you have any questions!

Very nice. Sorry to clutter the thread, but what makes a X30/31 lid not WiFi compatible?

No problem! The difference is that the WiFi compatible/upgradeable lids have the black plastics "windows" on either side of the lid. If you look at the top and right sides of your T43's lid, you'll see what I'm talking about. Since the lids are made from titanium, there has to be a non-metallic area for the WiFi signals to pass through.

I hope this make sense.

My X30 LCD housing doesn't have antennae either. I placed two Hitachi 2.4Ghz antennae under the KB and they worked fine.
