SOLD: Thinkpad T40 (type 2373)

#1 Post by N-Bomb » Thu Jan 15, 2009 10:04 pm

-Pics at bottom-

-Pentium M 1.5 GHz processor
-40GB HD (I may be convinced to throw in an 80GB 2.5" external or put the 80 in and the 40 in an external, whatever. Make me an offer/convince me :))
-512 MB of RAM
-Legit Windows XP Pro license (This can be worth $50-100 alone)
-Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics
-14.1" non-glossy 1024x768 screen
-24x/8x CD/DVD
-Wireless-G wifi
-Integrated ethernet port
-integrated fax/modem
-Two batteries
-stereo audio
-Logitech optical mouse

-it's great for playing older games on a plane, like Starcraft, Homeworld, Sim City 3000.
-It will play 720p video pretty well.
-Good for office-y stuff, internet, email, etc...
-I've used Photoshop and other Adobe apps on here as well
-I believe people have managed to get OSX86 running on it

-OS will be restored to factory condition.

It's been very carefully used, I'm the original and only owner. No warranty work has been performed, nor has there been a need. No spills, drops, or anything else.

If you're local and pick it up instead of getting it shipped, I'll throw in a neat laptop backpack I've used with it. (and you'll save money on shipping!)

I'm asking $350 CAD or best offer for all this. I am flexible, so please contact me if you're interested. I'll ship to anywhere in Canada or the continental US, anywhere else would probably be too expensive. (edit: my bad!)

As to payment, I'd prefer not to take paypal, but you can try to convince me. I'll accept postal money orders, cash (in person. I make no guarantees about mailed bills), or interac email transfers.

You can check 'ossman' on ebay if you have any doubts. I prefer to not use ebay, but I have a 100% feedback rating there.

I'm located in Toronto, Canada. If you have any further questions, please don't hessitate to pm me or email me.

Thanks!

One quick clarification: $350 US or $350 CA?
Cell phones are my specialty. Got questions? Ask away.

Hm... I dunno how to put it. One of them is a third-party battery. It holds 47.6 Wh and has been cycled 19 times according to battery maximizer, the other is the original, it 20.77 Wh and has been cycled 70 times. Under specific circumstances, I can still get 5-7h out of it (from both) on a plane back from Europe, watching videos and other low-demand tasks.

Hope this helps!
