Collectable ThinkPad for sale - 755CE

Greetings, all.

I have a Thinkpad 755CE I'm offering for sale.

Specifications:

IBM Machine Type: 9545-7BD
Intel 486DX4 100MHz CPU
10.4" TFT display with 640x480 resolution
16MB memory installed
540MB HDD
UltraBay with 1.44MB FDD
(2) Type II, or (1) Type III PCMCIA slot

Operationally, the machine boots fine (it has Windows 95 on it). There is a little audio squeal in it; not sure why. The battery is, of course, shot. It did leak, and will need rebuild/replacement (I have the original battery, and will include it with the machine). Display looks excellent, no scratches or dead pixels, backlight fine. Surround is very clean. Keys all work, Trackpoint works, etc.

Cosmetically, I'd rate it an 7.5-8. The battery leaked minimally and the majority of the leakage cleaned up quite well. The keytops are in great shape with no wear apparent at all. The case has a few scuffs on the lid, some wear through the coating on the front right corner, and some of the red on the I in IBM and the silver on the Thinkpad has worn off.

The Thinkpad and its original charger will be included. Sorry, I don't have anything else with it.

If you're looking to see what you can do with one of these older (!) Thinkpads, this might be a nice choice for you. It seems to be a solid machine operationally (except for the audio, and the MWave doesn't appear in Device Mangler, so one might just need to re-load the driver). They just don't build 'em like this any more.
