SOLD: Mint, hardly used, very well equipped R61i 14" widescreen ThinkPad. This machine is nearly identical to a T61 widescreen.

Incredible spec.'s on this near new machine. The battery holds (more than) the original design full charge and only has 43 cycles on it. I put the last 12 cycles on it using it between a T61 and this machine. The only evidence that it was ever used is a couple of very light scuffs on the LCD cover. They look worse in the photo than in person, and they don't even look bad at all in the photo (the cover mark on the right is just from a dirty hand). No other wear at all - the machine still smells new!

I included pictures of the R61i next to a 14" widescreen T61 so you can see that the difference in size is only 1/8" in thickness. The width and depth are identical. The machine only weighs a few ounces more than the T61 - the cover material is identical, rubberized black finish.

The CPU is surprisingly fast. I believe this mobo supports CPU upgrades up to 800MHz bus T7100, T7250, T7300, T7500, etc.

It certaintly is, I have a very similar one to this. Mine has a faster CPU but smaller HD running XP, bought for outdoor mobile use, but changed my mind as soon as I saw it in the 'flesh'

So very tempting. Don't suppose you are interested in a 12" PowerBook or a near mint Celeron R61e as a partial trade?

Those are interesting offers, but another forum member already committed to buying it via money order.
