seller is asking $425 + $18s&h

Is this a fair price?

Next, how does this 14" t60 compare is size to the 14" T40P?
I really like the compact size of my T40P, but have been wanting an "up-grade".

In terms of width and depth, both T40p and T60 have almost exact footprint. I have both at one point. T40p is "Thinner" than T60 but T60 feels more solid overall.

Price seems good to me, as long as you exercise the usual precaution when buy from eBay.

Well, my T40P feels like a rock (weighs less, of course).
The T60P 15" I have is too big, so it sits un-used.

As for the eBay seller, i have purchased many desktops and LCD monitors from him and always felt I received value for my money.

My main concern was price, as I'm not up-to-date on the T60.
Same for the size vs T40...

I see you have an unused 15" T60 sitting there.
This person is looking for one, maybe yours?

No, he needs a warranty, mine is long gone (the warranty, that is).

And it seems he found what he was looking for, anyways.

As long as the cosmetics are fine, it's a good price. That is an Intel GPU based T60 with some higher end bits.

The 14" T4x and T6x machines are nearly identical in every dimension including weight. The T4x just has a less boxy, more aerodynamic leading edge, which makes it seem even slimmer than it is. All dimensions are within 1/16" of each other.

Internally, the T6x is better designed and stronger (not to mention, much faster!) I'd say the only downside to the T6x's is that their plastics (keyboard, palmrest) wear much more quickly than the T4x series. For instance, keyboard shine develops very quickly.

There is another high end T60 available now in the marketplace at a similar cost --> http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=73128

Are you selling that T60? I've been looking on ebay lately to replace my T41 and I've seen a few for under $400 but none 15", I think I want to upgrade to bigger screen.
