SOLD: Very nice condition, nicely spec.'d, T42.

This machine had the loose GPU issue, but I sent it out for professional repair and it now works perfectly. See this link for much more info on the repair (and the quote below) --> http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=72974

We did a complete remove, reball and replacement of the existing GPU on the logic board. The entire GPU has new solder balls on it therefore the solder joints/connections from the GPU to the solder pads on the logic board are new.

The operating condition is perfect, no issues at all. The battery is in very good shape, lasts 2+ hours. There are only minor cosmetic issues, 1) slight keyboard shine, 2) light scuffs on the cover, 3) the LCD has slightly uneven lighting at the bottom edge and one barely noticeable scuff from the keyboard - not evident unless the LCD is off and the screen is held at an angle to the light to find it. Overall, the machine looks quite nice and has a bright LCD, please see pictures.
