Thinkpad 770X (9549-72U): This is in very good shape. There is some wear showing on the HDD cover where the soft touch paint has rubbed off and the black plastic shines through. Lid and everything else is very presentable. The Pentium II sticker and Windows sticker are just starting to go. Everything else looks very good. The CPU has been upgraded to a PIII 500MHz. This causes occasional video corruption (see the 770X upgrade thread) but only rarely on this machine. A solution may have been found. See: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=73569. Haven't tried it so can't guarantee that works. Battery is only good for a minute or two before the low battery notifications come up. Asking $50 shipped within the US.

Original description with changes in bold:
PII 300MHz (512KB) --> PIII 500MHz. Original CPU included.

14.1 XGA TFT
24X CD-ROM
56K(ACP) Modem
