I don't suppose any of you have an extra x61 tablet stylus laying around, do you? I, uh... well I broke mine. :( Wondering if I can find a replacement under $50. Thanks!

Your tablet is still under warranty isn't it? Might be worth a try-- depending on how you broke it of course. :D

Hehe... Weeeeell...

I know I know. :BAAAD!:

I hardly ever have throwing-of-things moments, especially with expensive hardware... (and especially especially with thinkpads) but I've had an exceptionally crappy week. :( Something I had worked hard on that was the best I had ever done was lost because a program crashed.

Learned my lesson. ;) But I still need a stylus.

There are some on eBay.

BTW, if you don't mind (the replacement) not fitting the built-in slot, you may use one from some other tablet PC models or Wacom tablets. Maybe you can find cheaper ones that way.

Cheers.

the thinkpad stylus runs at a different frequency than the wacom tablets.   a bamboo stylus might work but i know for a fact that an intuos3 pen won't (which is sad since the intuos3 pen is worlds better).

unless there's a compelling reason not to do so, it's best just to get an X60T/X61T stylus, get in the habit of saving your work more often, and do your best not to throw around a $50 pen which, if broken, could render the tablet input function of your tablet computer completely useless. ;)

My wacom tablet pen doesn't work with it, but I want one that fits the bay for it anway. I'll just buy one from Lenovo--they're no cheaper on ebay.

I do usually save my work often, but this program won't allow me to in tablet mode. Whenever I bring up the OSK it crashes. (Which is what happened, incidentally. The little tab popped out and I accidentally hit it.) Needless to say, the program is now gone from my computer to keep me from being tempted to run it again and have similar frustrations. 8)
