That's an NMB keyboard and will only fit 15" models (14.1" keyboards have an extra mounting stud and they're offset by 12mm).

Very true, but it will fit either model. The reverse is not true, as the extra mounting point will not allow the use of a 14" keyboard in a 15" machine.

No. The posts are in different places. The KB will not fit 14". Also, the T42 fan doesn't work with R5x
