The problem, as I see it, would be the video. I'm not sure that dropping my common image(s) on your T41 would work very well - I use Dock IIs (with and without video cards) + PivotPro + Ultramon + multiple monitors. For the time being, I think I'll stick to a common hardware platform. Thanks for your interest anyways. Regards.

I don't know if an ATi 9000 and 9600 are that much different. The driver partition line is 7500, 7800, 9000, 9600, FireGL-T2 for A31-T42; then X300, X600, V3200 for T43 etc. At least the driver is the same for T41 and T42. My last generation work machine was another T41/9000 and I use LCD+DVI dual desktop, 1400x1050 + 1280x1024.

My T41ps use the ATI M10 GL-128 which, as far as I know, is a different chip. Regards.
