WTB: 14" Thinkpad T43p/60/61 with Dedicated Graphics

Basically, I'm looking for a Thinkpad T-series, specifically T43p, T60, or T61 (p's too). It must be a 14" display, and I'm really trying to get one with dedicated graphics. I'd like to find a "loaded" system, or hopefully a "p" model.

I currently own a 15" T61p, but it's too big for what I need it for. I'm selling or trading it, here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=73759, and I'm definitely open to a trade for a 14".

I want to sell my T60 or T42 with 14" SXGA.
Hardly use it since I got my X61t.
and my mom use T42 just for reading news online.

T60 2613HKU C2D T7200/14.1SXGA+/X1400/2G/100G 7k2/DVDRW/3 yers./BT/FP
T42 2373H13 PM-1.7/14.1SXGA+/Radeon 9600/1G/60G 7k2/CDRW/DVD/3 yers/BT
i have a brandnew T42 keyboard BIN, which u can replace.

both machine has recovery CD.
let me know how much u can offer coz i didnt know the used laptop price.

Smart decision! With their GPU plague, I wouldn't touch any 14" T4x with a dedicated GPU with a ten-foot pole.

I have 4 or 5 new IBM T42 motherboards, one with 128mb video, I got them right from easy serve but never installed them, If he wanted a full blown t42p UXGA, bletooth and fingerprint reader I have the machine for him but unfortunately nothing I currently stock is a 14inch model with the exception of a Z60t wide screen

Not quite, that is a 15" display, and themightyquinn wants a 14".

Actually, the "loose GPU" issue was resolved beginning with the T43.
Statistically, the failure and defect rate of the T61 has been an order of magnitude worse, at least in our experience at IBM.

It was reduced greatly, but not resolved on the T43 (and some late T42s).

What kind of failures? Because not all of them are equal to a fail of the most important and expensive part of the laptop (system board).

I believe that reference to T61/p failures is tied to defective batch of nVidia GPUs...we have yet to see the full extent of this crisis, but it's not going to be pretty...
