Listing has been updated and price reduced; see below:

I sold my X60, but then ended up buying a couple more laptops, so I think the time has come to unload my beloved X32, which I haven't used much in the last 2 years. This is a type 2884 M5U, 1.8ghz Pentium M processor, with the following components:

Date of Manufacture: June of 2005; out of warranty
2gb RAM in 2 sticks
60gb Hitachi 7200rpm IDE drive manufactured in 2004
Original diskload including original service partition, Windows XP
Intel 2200b/g Wireless Card
NO Bluetooth (don't think it existed as an option when the laptop was manufactured)
Bonus 2gb Sandisk II CF card in the CF card slot
THREE 56 watt AC adapters, one of which was never used
3 regular batteries plus one X30 series extended battery; for condition, see below
Original supplied 40gb hard disk that shipped with the system, in a small USB enclosure (as an accessory)
NO optical drive and NO ultrabase

*****************Battery information updated Monday March 9:**************

I've now charged and retested all 4 batteries I'm offering with the system. The first 3 batteries are the standard sized 6 cell batteries that fit the system:

#1: 1 cycle; "good" condition; 1st used 5/2007; stored in refrigerator for 2 years; charge capacity 46.44/design capacity 47.52

#2: 10 cycles; "good" condition; 1st used 9/2005; charge capacity 41.94/design capacity 51.84; stored in fridge for a year.

#3: Battery was serviced by batteryrefill.com 6/2007; 9 total cycles; has been installed on machine since serviced. 9 cycles, charge capacity 32.15/design capacity 47.52; "yellow" (mediocre) condition.

#4, X60 series extended capacity battery: Serviced by batteryrefill.com mid June 2007, stored in fridge ever since. Cycles: 6. Ist used date, 7/2005; charge capacity 38.28/design capacity 38.88.

*********************

Overall condition is very good with no known problems. The keyboard shows signs of use but nothing remarkable other than for a little bit of shine. The laptop's casing is intact with no cracks. There are no evident problems with the screen.

I used this laptop only on trips, as I had 14" and larger laptops I used at home. It was used for around 5 months during a two year period, and almost not at all in the last 2 years, other than for periodically updating the software. I probably have some recovery disks I made somewhere in the house and will try to locate them.

I have the original box and will ship the system within it.

Asking price is $400 OBO Plus actual shipping charges, shipped via ground UPS or USPS to the contiguous 48 states. Other destinations in the US or Canada will be considered but shipping will obviously be more. NO SHIPPING outside of the USA or Canada. Paypal preferred. Shipping could be a little bit expensive given the weight of the included items (3 chargers and 4 batteries).

I have some pictures I can post later today (March 9) if there is any interest.

No one has shown any interest in this system. I was getting ready to list it on ebay when I decided to call up our local Hospice (one of the few remaining that runs only on donations and does not bill any patient for services) to ask if they had a use for it. They do, and will replace a very old system with it.

I am therefore donating this system to the Hospice, and it is no longer available.

Mods may lock the thread.
