I have the following for sale:
...
Serial ATA Hard Drive UltraBay Slim Adapter - 40Y8725 - $30 shipped
In excellent, like new condition. Compatible with T43, T6x, etc.. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NEW ULTRABAY CONNECTOR (T400, etc.)!
...
Is this the genuine IBM/Lenovo part? I am asking because the genuine IBM/Lenovo part has a small piece of plastic sticking out on the side that goes into the ultrabay port, which actually prevents it from physically fitting in a T4x machine (i.e., it would not be compatible with T43 unless you remove that piece of plastic). The after market knock-offs do not have this piece of plastic to start with.

Yes, it is a genuine IBM/Lenovo part and has the little plastic tab. Thanks for the clarification!

Marketplace rule - You must mention if there is a COA or original media for an upgraded OS offered with this laptop, and you must mention the licensing/media for any additional software offered.

EDIT: I just noticed the new forum rules. Still, my post had been inactive for 10 days...

Hi Harry,

I think you missed the part about the factory reload, meaning a restore of the OS that came with the machine. A lot of Thinkpads don't come with recovery CDs anymore, so I used the Rescue & Recovery Utilities to make them. Also it has a COA.

Regardless, the machine is no longer for sale.
