For sale is a like-new X200 ultrabase, 43R8781, with CD-RW/DVD Serial Ultrabay Slim drive, FRU 42T2543. I received this system accessory from the Lenovo Outlet with my recently-purchased x200 tablet and have used it once to test its functionality.

There are no flaws whatever--no scratches, dings, dents, gouges or other imperfections. The CDRW/DVD functions as new and flawlessly reads all supported optical discs. Also, the ultrabase's lock mechanism works perfectly--no stickiness, hesitation, or other defects--and two keys are included. All product documentation is also included.

No A/C adapter or other connectivity accessories are included with the ultrabase. This ultrabase and optical drive will ship in original Lenovo packaging.

Price: $130.00 plus shipping to your location.

I know that X6 Ultrabases come in seperate FRU's for tablet vs. non-tablet X61's. Does the X200 Ultrabase also come in different FRU's for tablet vs. non? In other words, can your X200 Ultrabase be used on a non-tablet X200?

According to this Lenovo page about the X200 ultrabase, it says the following:

The ThinkPad X200 UltraBase snaps easily onto your ThinkPad X200 Series ultraportable or tablet system for portable expansion.

and, elsewhere on the page:

The ThinkPad X200 UltraBase can be used only with ThinkPad X200 Series ultraportable and tablet systems.

Hardware requirements: The ThinkPad® X200 UltraBase is supported on the following ThinkPad X200 Series systems:

So yes, the ultrabase I am selling can be used with any X200 series system.
