Thinkpad T40 2373-MU4 System Restore CD"S

I purchased a 7K60 HD from Newegg.com.
However i need to install windows on it ASAP, and do not have my restore CD's.
Would I be able to purchase the originals or a copy from someone?

i have product recovery cds (pcs) that are labelled
"for Thinkpad T70 2373, 2374"
the part number is 01R8046.
i have also created an image backup of my T40 2373-82H.
i can send you a copy, depending where you are. i am in manila, philippines.

i'll check out fedex cost from manila to maryland.
maybe the shipping is more expensive than the cd's!
i noticed that you want it ASAP, that may not be possible. i am still
in indonesia, and will be demobilized from my job on the 8th march 05.
so that means i can only respond to it on the 10th march 05 - reason
being the cd's are in manila.
if that's alright and you can wait - send response.
by the way, do you want a recorded copy only?

I can wait for a while.
I am happy with the recorded copy as long as they are fully funtional with xp pro which would install on my computer.

I too am looking for a set of T40/p restore cd's. I recently bought a T40p from ebay but it's only got a 40gb hard drive and i have a new 80gb laptop drive i'd like to put in it but i need to use the restore cd's to restore the predesktop environment and windows on the new hard drive.
I would highly appreciate it if anybody who happens to have a set of T40/p restore cd's IBM part number 01R8046 could copy them to a set of cd-r's and send them to me via mail or image them and upload them to me (either via AIM or ftp to my file server or by some other means we work out by email).

I just got confirmation from yak that he's going to be sending me a set of t40p recovery cd's... thanks everybody who tried to help!
