SOLD: Complete T42 that won't boot, is worn, has broken or dying parts - it'll make a great prop for a movie.

I'll list all the details below, but don't get your hopes up, it isn't pretty. Minimally, it has a loose GPU, fans spins and LEDs glow at power up (it used to boot up with pressure on the GPU; no repair has been attempted, this GPU is epoxied down by factory - a reflow is possible).
Cosmetically, it's worn, but not destroyed, the cover is scuffed up, the keyboard is shiny and the bottom case is only missing a small plastic piece from the USB port area (common problem). It will wind up on eBay unless a forum member has a special need for this type of beast.
Bottom line, if you can repair the motherboard and drop in a working hard drive, you'll have a working T42 beater. It is complete, with every cover and screw in place.
