Hello,

9456-6HU LV-AV926 is the device info.

I have obtained this Thinkpad from a friend. Due to liquid spill issue it was not turning on despite showing some signs of life (powering up for some seconds with leds blink). Therefore, I have bought and installed an inferior R60 system board in it and it boots up working fine with the XP OS. I did not have time to diagnose the old (original) system board to fix.

The board I put in is a brand new from Lenovo. I think it is a lower end R60 board lacking some options of the original one.
Please kindly be informed that the board installed in the notebook lacks these features:

-No docking port
-No touch pad
-No S-video
-Only one PCMCIA slot
-No Ultrabay ports

This thinkpad is worth to work on but I have no time now, that is why I am selling the entire thing.

The original Configuration is as follows:

Celeron M 420(1.6GHz),
15in 1024x768 LCD,
Intel 950, Modem,
Gb Ethernet,
UltraNav,
Secure chip
2x 512 mb DDR2
Atheros abg wireless

The items you will get for the price are:

The laptop itself including (no HDD and no AC adapter):

-The keyboard, brand new.
- LCD panel and the outer lid has some light scratches. The LCD is in excellent condition, no dead pixels, pressure marks or such.
- Original Lenovo battery with 88 cycles and tested to be perfect.
- Modem card
- Atheros abg wireless card
- DVD-CDRW combo drive
- 2X 512 original memory
- Old main board (in case you want to fix)
- Celeron 1.6 CPU (m420)
- HDD cradle with complete set of screws and cushions (I was not given the HDD)

If you want to use it for parts, it is perfect. The case and the palmrest is in like new condition. The other option would be to install an inexpensive SATA hdd and let it run. This is a working laptop.

I can provide more info like pictures or serial numbers etc.

The price I am asking for is $ 220 with shipping in the US.

Doesn't that sound like a R60e?
