LF: R50p/T42p board (complete R50p also considered) FOUND
Hi All,
My R50p motherboard died a mysteriously comprehensive death yesterday - no lights, no beeps, nothing! All the fuses I could find checked out okay, so I'm looking for a replacement.
Please send me a PM with details if you have a known good motherboard that will drive a UXGA screen (T42p / R50p / etc?)
Thanks,
Andy

Thanks Brad - PM replied to.
In light of the relative expense of a replacement motherboard, I am now considering buying another R50p.
If anyone has a machine sitting idle (barebones or otherwise),with a fully functional system board (no graphics issues), please send me a PM.
Thanks,
Andy

Re: LF: R50p or T42p mainboard (complete R50p also considered)
I can chime in that Brad sold me a new (?) T42p motherboard to install in my R50p over a year ago and it's held up very well in an abusive climate. He was rightfully confident in the quality of his stock and I gather that these are the late T42 boards that had tweaks for improved durability.
A notch above "used and tested" to be sure !
If you depend on the machine, it may be worth it to get the best motherboard.
Cheers,
Steve
