SOLD to forum member: T43 w/high resolution 14" LCD in absolutely mint condition, it is as close to new as possible. It simply does not appear used, only 31 cycles on battery. You won't believe your eyes.

Note: This model does not come with the fingerprint reader palmrest option, but I confirmed that it can be upgraded by just swapping the part. It has the correct drive cage and motherboard support.

Let me guess: a Sony battery. Right?

It is a Sony! Why, are the gauges on Sony's optimistic?

Well, it's a tricky thing. I have experience with all three battery manufacturers (Panasonic, Sanyo and Sony) and the only batteries where the full charge capacity stays equal to the design capacity after many cycles are Sony batteries. Whether it's because of the way the calibrate their gauge, or how the power manager measures it, or whether they really hold their charge, I don't know.

Come to think about it, perhaps it's time for me to summarize these interesting findings. I will do it soon, once I find time (maybe not today). :D
