The card is made by Actiontec for IBM and has IBM FRU# 93P3471 and model BMDC200B.
This version of the BMDC-2 Card is compatible with the Thinkpad R50, R50p, R51, T40, T40p, T41, T41p, T42, T42, X31, X40, X41
Normally an antenna is required if you are upgrading a non-Bluetooth ready Thinkpad. If your laptop does not come with an antenna, you can use the auxiliary wireless antenna instead. The wireless signal will became a little weaker, normally it is still enough.
The Auction includes the card only. The Current versions of the Thinkpad BlueTooth II/III Software can be downloaded directly from lenovo website:
